About us
Avin Foam Afrooz Chemistry Company (AFAC) has started the manufacture of rigid polyurethane foam in 2019. The manufacturing unit in AFAC is furnished with state-of-the-art technologies in the polyurethane production industry, which is operated by a trained and experienced team. Despite being newly established, AFAC can supply the demands of customers in the shortest possible time.
Products manufactured by AFAC for use in various industrial applications include refrigerator foam, continuous and discontinuous sandwich panel foams, polyurethane materials for use in foam insulation systems (heat, sound, and moisture isolation), chair foam, foams for transportations, and foam for the shoe industry.

Avin Foam Afrooz Chemistry Company (AFAC)
Avin Foam Afrooz Chemistry Company (AFAC) began its activities in 2019 to supply the demands of industries utilizing polyurethane in order to manufacture raw materials and state-of-the-art systems relying on domestic knowledge and the utilization of domestically produced materials. The company initially converged on the development of polyurethane systems for the manufacture of sandwich panels in continuous manufacturing lines, aiming to manufacture products based on polyester resins in its manufacturing cycle. Our target markets are in the bordering countries and the Persian Gulf. Plus, we have begun close cooperation with domestic industries.
AFAC
In order to supply the demands of manufacturers of polyurethane foams, notably rigid foams, and to eliminate the technical dependencies and supply of raw materials for these manufacturers, AFAC, after years of extensive efforts and research, has launched the production line for polyol, which is one of the strategic raw materials in the production of polyurethane products. The manufacture of high-quality products to compete with international opponents has been one of the central slogans at AFAC. AFAC has perpetually walked in this direction and has made huge investments in the research and development of raw materials.
The design, construction, and commissioning of the manufacturing line of polyol for rigid foams such as sandwich panels started in 2018 on land with an area of 20,000 m2 in Takestan industrial town and was operated in March 2017 with a daily production capacity of 20 tons.
We plan to take other necessary steps to introduce more products soon by expanding our activities in order to strengthen the Iranian polyurethane industry.
Mokarrar Industrial Group (MIG) was established in Khorramdasht Industrial Town (Karaj, Iran), on an area of 10,000 m2. MIG is producing and supplying more than 10 types of produces by utilizing the most advanced digital machines, laboratory quality control of raw materials and products, as well as relying on trained staff, according to international standards.
By employing and localizing the latest technologies and knowledge, the research unit of MIG has taken a big step in the localization of this industry and has spent hugely on R&D purposes. Thus, by diminishing dependency on overseas technologies, it makes great efforts to localize this industry.
One of the main strategies of the company is innovation and movement to supply the demands of the polyurethane industry, which has been provided by international companies so far. Being a leader in the transfer of new technologies and the use of new techniques in supplying the industrial and economic requirements of the country are among the prominent missions of AFAC.
Though it is hard to be a leader in transferring new technologies and exploiting new products and materials, the pleasure of introducing a new product and exploiting a new national achievement has always injected intrinsic motivation into the body of AFAC.
AFAC has never looked at the repetitious projects and processes that have been implemented by national manufacturers. The future vision of the MIG is also based on this principle. Our R&D unit is bound to concentrate on choosing new projects, innovation, and compliance with the main requirements of the national industries. In simple terms, identifying problems and the blind ties of the country’s industry are distinctive features to consider by the technicians and experts of the company’s R&D unit.
